Activities, Meetings & SCA Events

There are often a number of regularly scheduled activities running in the Wyndriche area.


The Canton of Wyndriche is part of the Barony of Endewearde. You can view the Baronial Master Calendar and see a wider variety of activities being offered within the Barony of Endewearde’s borders, which includes the Canton of Basingestoches and the Canton of Wyndriche, on Endewearde’s website.

You may also wish to visit the East Kingdom Event Calendar to see what SCA events are being held across the East Coast in Atlantic Canada and New England.

Business Meetings

We meet once a quarter to discuss business matters of concern to the canton. The exact time and date of the next Business Meeting is posted on the Announcements page of the website.

Arts and Sciences

Formal workshops and classes for Arts and Sciences activities run on an irregular schedule in the Canton of Wyndriche. Check the announcements page to see what is coming up next.

You are also welcome to attend A&S activities hosted by the Barony of Endewearde (Bangor), the Canton of Basingtoches (Ellsworth and Bar Harbor), the Shire of Hadchester (Rockland area), and the Riding of Ravensbridge (Augusta area).

Thrown Weapons Practice

Thrown weapons practice is held at Syr Cedric’s home in China, ME. Loaner weapons are available.  Contact Syr Cedric of Thanet at if you need more information. Come throw sharp pointy things with us.

The practice schedule for October 2020 is:

 Practices of 10/16, 10/17, 10/23, & 10/24 are cancelled. Cedric hopes to resume practices on Friday 10/30, with a revised start time for Friday and Saturday practices of 3pm. Covid protocols continue to apply.

Martial Combat Activities

Currently our Canton’s Heavy Weapons and Rapier fighter practices are on hold.

The Barony of Endewearde holds fighter practices on Sunday afternoons at the Bangor Housing Authority, 161 Davis Road, Bangor, ME.  The Riding of Ravensbridge also has rapier practice on Wednesdays in Manchester, ME. Please check the official websites for those branches to ensure you have the proper dates & places.
